These notes apply the Fractal Persistence Equation (FPE) to households, workplaces, and communities — the \(L+1\) and \(L+2\) layers between individual psychology and nation-state geopolitics.
They are companion essays, not a textbook. For the full derivation and philosophical context, see:
persistence.md — short statement of the FPEpapers/information_persisting_systems.md — formal lawdocs/fractal_layers.md — bridge from psyche to politydocs/information_containers.md — social containers atlas| FPE term | In groups / organisations |
|---|---|
| \(P_{in}\eta\) | Productive coordination, fair division of labour, clear mandates |
| Low \(\eta\) | Blame theatre, meeting load without decisions, performative work |
| \(\mathcal{D}_{KL}\) | Official narrative vs floor reality; “culture deck” vs shop floor |
| \(\Gamma\) | Grievance backlog, silos, family secrets, unresolved roles |
| \(\Phi\) | Members as substrate — health, skills, trust, tacit know-how |
| \(\Psi\) | Market, state, supply chain, alliance that shelters the group |
| \(\omega\) | Bureaucracy, ritual complexity, rules nobody follows |
| \(\mathcal{R} \ge 1\) | The household / firm / movement still exists as a distinct node |

Each essay follows the same spine:
Nothing here replaces therapy, HR law, or labour organising. The point is to show that many “cultural” or “structural” labels are often accounting labels for how a collective node is managing \(\mathcal{R}\) in real time.
